Clippers finish in the middle at Rock Falls meet

ROCK FALLS – Amboy-LaMoille’s boys’ track team finished in the middle of the pack in the Rock Falls Rocket Invitational on April 22.

Dixon ran away with the team title with 117 points, followed by Riverdale (87.33), Rock Falls (76), Newman (61) and Forreston. The Clippers were sixth out of 11 teams with 43.33 points.

Brock Loftus paced the Clippers with their only two first-place finishes. He finished ahead of the pack in the 1600-meter run (4:45.65) and the 3200-meter run (10:05.72).
