ASHTON – The Amboy Clippers will participate in the Ashton-Franklin Center Class 1A Regional Baseball Tournament.
LaMoille and AFC will met in an opening-round game on Tuesday, May 15, after the Monday match was rescheduled due to rain, with that winner taking on Forreston at 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 16. Amboy will battle Earlville at 6:30 p.m. May 16, with the two Wednesday winners playing for the regional title at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 19.
The AFC regional champion will advance to the Hanover (River Ridge) Sectional to face the winner of the East Dubuque Regional on Wednesday, May 23 at 6:30 p.m. The other sectional participants will come from the Lena-Winslow and Morrison regionals.
