AMBOY – The Amboy-LaMoille boys’ track team enjoyed the comforts of its home track for the first time this season and made it a success with a win over four other teams on April 13.
The Clippers accumulated 95 points to beat out second-place Pearl City (79) by a wide margin. Ashton-Franklin Center took third with 78 points, followed by Galena (49) and Ohio (4).
A-L picked up seven first-place finishes, including a pair by Thomas Stamberger in the 800- and 1600-meter runs. Two Clipper relay teams also earned top honors.
