AMBOY – Get ready for some fabulous country music, Amboy, as ‘Brushville’ will take the Main Stage for a high-energy show from 7-9 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25 during Amboy Depot Days.

Known for its lively shows, Brushville has been playing sold out venues because of its high energy performances.

Brushville has been igniting stages all over the Midwest for the past four years. The band has been sought out by the biggest and best events that the industry has to offer, including Chicago’s Country Music Festival, Country Fest and Country Thunder in Wisconsin, as well as premier venues like two-time ACM Nightclub of the Year winner, Joe’s Bar in Chicago, and Spinnaker Beach Club in Panama City, Fla., for spring break.

To prove just how much of an impact Brushville can have, the band entered the Battle for the Saddle at Nashville’s legendary Wildhorse Saloon in 2012. Out of the over 300 national bands that entered, Brushville came out on top and was selected the winner by a panel of top industry professionals including Michael Knox (the man credited with “discovering” talents such as Jason Aldean, John Rich and Gretchen Wilson).

One reporter compared a Brushville show to a hockey game. “It was an engineering masterpiece as all members could switch out of one song mid-stream and into another seamlessly. It was like watching a hockey game where the players changed, but the action and the game clock kept rolling.”

Brushville, which originated in Bloomington, Ill., blends four extremely talented musicians, with incredible harmonies, an explosive stage show and a fresh, dynamic sound produced by an array of instruments to create an unforgettable experience for the audience.
