ORION – The Amboy-LaMoille boys’ track team will participate in the Orion Class 1A Sectional on Friday, May 17.
Other teams in the sectional include Ashton (A.-Franklin Center), Cambridge [Coop], Earlville [Coop], Galva, Granville (Putnam County), Henry (H.-Senachwine) [Coop], Hinckley (H.-Big Rock), Kewanee (Wethersfield) [Coop], Manlius (Bureau Valley), Orion, Peru (St. Bede), Princeville, Shabbona (Indian Creek) [Coop], Somonauk, Spring Valley (Hall) and Toulon (Stark County).
First- and second-place winners in each event, including relay teams, from the sectional will advance to the State Final Meet. In addition, any individual or relay team who equals or surpasses the qualifying standard in the finals for the class they represent in the sectional meet will advance to the State Final Meet in their class.
The State Meet will be May 23-25 in Charleston.
