DIXON — Beverly Unger, 77, of Dixon, died Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at Serenity Hospice & Home in Oregon. She had many occupations over the years from Interior Design, waitressing, and owning Splash of Color Tanning Salon in Dixon prior to her passing.

DIXON — Beverly Unger, 77, of Dixon, died Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at Serenity Hospice & Home in Oregon. She had many occupations over the years from Interior Design, waitressing, and owning Splash of Color Tanning Salon in Dixon prior to her passing.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Private burial of cremated remains will take place at Pine Creek Cemetery.

Beverly was born, June 7, 1940 in Oregon, the daughter of Arthur J. and Eva (King) Long. She enjoyed gardening, but most of all spending time with her family and friends and will be missed by all who knew her.

Beverly is survived by her daughter, Debra P. (Kirk Hudson) Garber; one sister, Jeanette (Glen, Sr.) Hart; one sister in law, Joyce Long; two grandchildren, Alyssa (Chris McKnight) Gonzalez, Cody (Alyssah) Gonzalez; one great grandchild, Easton and one on the way, Arthur all of Dixon.

Beverly was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Ken and Lawrence Long.

Arrangements are being completed by Preston-Schilling Funeral Home, Dixon.
