Former owner of the Long Branch Saloon Bill Brady had acquired a painting that was an advertisement from O.F.C. Whiskey that pictured an elk. This painting hung on the wall at the Long Branch for many years, and then years ago the painting was sold. Recently, Clint Conway was online at auction.zip.com and saw that an exact replica of the elk painting was up for auction in Springfield. Conway was in touch with Long Branch Saloon owner and antique collectors Mary and Bob Olson about the painting. The painting was purchased at auction and was hung last week back on the wall where had originally hung all those years ago. Olson said this painting is a signature piece of the Long Branch Saloon. Pictured above are, from left to right, Conway, and Mary and Bob Olson.
