The Lee County Master Gardeners held their annual plant sale at the Lee County 4-H Fairgrounds on Saturday. The sale was so popular that most of the plants were sold in the first hour of the sale. Marilyn Kemmerer, of the Lee County Extension office, said the proceeds, $1300.00, will be used to benefit the Lee County Master Gardener program. The group hopes to build-on their success in 2019.
