AMBOY — Amboy Community School District has announced the following teachers have joined the school year for this school year.
Lizzie Sunday, teachers First Grade at Amboy Central Elementary School. Before coming to Amboy, taught first grade for two years at Rock Falls District 13.
She received her Bachelor’s Degree at Western Illinois University Quad Cities. She is certified in grades first through sixth.
She is originally from Sterling and now lives in Walnut. Sunday will be getting married July 2022 to Jason Bontz.
Sara Krabbenhoeft, teaches Sixth Grade ELA at Amboy Junior High School. Before coming to Amboy, she taught fourth and fifth grade combined, and third through fifth grade P.E. at Christ Lutheran School
She received her Associates Degree from Sauk Valley Community College in Arts Elementary Education, and her Bachelor of Science in Education Degree from Western Illinois University Quad Cities.
She is married to Michael Krabbenhoeft.
