AMBOY — The elves at the Amboy Depot Museum have been busy decorating the Depot Museum grounds to celebrate the holidays. The festive decorations are raising holiday spirits everywhere. The Amboy Depot Museum has decided to open its doors for a few special days in December to help share the cheer with the community.
Do you have friends and family in for the holidays? Are the kids on winter break and needing an activity? You don’t have to travel far for a wonderful experience. Best of all, the admission is free, although donations are always appreciated. Take a visit through Amboy’s past while helping build the future. A great place to take a break and see just what makes Amboy so special. See past Clipper memorabilia, fashion of the 1900s, honor our Veterans, view the Amboy Marquee, take a picture on the Grand Staircase, view the model train display, and so much more.
The museum will be open normal business hours on Dec. 21, 23, 26, 27, 28 and 29.
If you have any questions or would like to book a tour or event, please contact the museum through City Hall at 815-857-3814.
Happy Holidays from the Amboy Depot Museum.
