AMBOY — Ashley Althaus, daughter of Steve and Deb Althaus, was named the 2020 Student of the Year at Amboy High School. Ashley will be attending Iowa State University in the fall to pursue a degree in Agriculture.
The nine students of the month for the 2019/2020 school year received a $475 award. They were: Ashley Althaus, Margaret Vaessen, Sidney Corcoran, Tyler Stewart, Alison O’Rourke, Rachel Ackert, Nastasja Vaessen, Maddison Full and Brittany Barlow.
The First National Bank in Amboy is the proud sponsor of this $4,750 scholarship award. This is the 37th year the Bank has sponsored this scholarship at Amboy High School. The First National Bank in Amboy con-gratulates all the students and wishes them the best in all their future endeavors.
