POLO — Allen E. "Zip" Sensenig, 47, of Polo, died Thursday July 12, 2018 at his home.
He was born May 23, 1971, in Dixon, the son of Lyle "Red" and Mary (Diggs) Sensenig. He had worked at Quality Metal Finishing in Byron for 14 years and then at Xena in Polo for the past 4 1/2 years.
Allen loved hunting, riding his four-wheeler and working on cars, trucks and engines. He also loved music, he loved his "tunes."
Allen is survived by his parents, of Amboy; one brother, Tim Sensenig, of Dixon; and niece and nephews, Alexa, Nathan, Seth and Matt.
He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Mildred Diggs of Wilbur, Neb.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., on Monday, July 16, 2018, at the Mihm-Jones Funeral Home in Amboy with the Rev. Mark Glenn officiating. Burial will follow in Woodside Cemetery in Lee Center. Visitation will be from 2- 4 p.m., and 6-8 p.m., on Sunday and from noon to 1 p.m., on Monday, in the funeral home.
