LEE CENTER — Agnes R. Eisenberg, 94, of Lee Center, died Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at her home surrounded by family.
She was born July 15, 1926 in Perham, Minn., the daughter of Edward and Mary (Fellerer) Boedigheimer. She was a member of St Patrick Catholic Church in Amboy and was active in the church’s women’s club.
Agnes married Leo F. Eisenberg on Nov. 19, 1955 at St Mary Catholic Church in Sterling. He preceded her in death Sept. 21, 2009.
She was also preceded in death by one great-granddaughter, Graceana Sutton; four brothers, Philip, John, Joseph and James Boedigheimer; and one sister, Edna Heiserich.
Agnes is survived by her children, Debra (Bill) Gorski, of Dixon, Henry (Mary) Eisenberg, of Dixon, Brian Eisenberg, of Lee Center; four grandchildren, Jacob Gorski, Kelli (Emmett) Hicks, Adam Eisenberg, Nicole (Nicholas) Sutton; and three great-grandchildren, Maya, Leo and Wyatt Sutton.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 12, 2021 beginning with a 10 a.m., prayer service at the Mihm-Jones Funeral Home in Amboy followed by a 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St Patrick Catholic Church in Amboy. Burial will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery in Amboy. Visitation will be on Sunday July 11, 2021 from 5 to 7 p.m., with the Rosary starting at 7 p.m., at the funeral home.
A memorial has been established to Serenity Hospice and Home.
