AMBOY — Poppies aren’t just pretty flowers. Poppies symbolize the sacrifice of our service members killed while protecting our nation.
The Amboy American Legion Auxiliary wear these poppies each year on Memorial weekend to honor our fallen heroes and to support our military veterans and their families.
We will be out in various locations in Amboy and Sublette on Friday, May 24 and Saturday, May 25. Please be generous and wear your poppy with pride.
All monies raised stay local to support the Honor Flight, improvements in Veterans Park and our veterans living in our communities.
